2nd Lt.,59th Training Squadron,Royal Flying Corps.Died aged 23.
On the outbreak of war he enlisted at Epsomin the 19th (Service) Battalion (2nd Public Schools) Royal Fusiliers as a private PS/33.It is likely that he served in France in the infantry before undergoing officer training being gazetted as a Temporary Lieutenant on the 20 March1917 and transfering to the RFC.He was killed in a training accident in a B.E .2e,reg. number 4434.
