Samuel Walkey's will dated 1718 left Sarah his Messuage and Tenement with Appertenances called Bishops Place in Alphington with the residue of a 99 year lease,his household goods and furniture together with the Cystern in his Maulthouse,the sum of Pounds 400,also his best Nagg or Mare.
1723 Devon and Exeter Oath Rolls include Sarah Walkey,widow of Alphington.
The following persons were interred within the walls of St Michael's Church,Alphington;
Samuel Walkey 17 Dec 1721,Frances wife,Elizabeth,daughter,Grace,her sister,Sarah,wife,thomas Hall,Sarah's husband,Dorothy,wife of the Rev Pitman,Samuel Walkey II,Mary,wife of Dr Benjamin Walkey.
Samuel married Sarah [1281] [MRIN: 416] about 1681. (Sarah [1281] was born about 1650 and died on 26 Mar 1726.)
Samuel next married Frances [1286] [MRIN: 417]. (Frances [1286] was born about 1643, died about 7 Nov 1678 and was buried on 7 Nov 1678 in St Michaels Church, Alphington, Devon.)
