  General Notes:

Looked after her parents and only married after their deaths.
In 1851 lived at Cuckoo Street,Colyton.
In 1861 lived in Brighton,described as a governess.
In the census recorded as being at St Mary's,Brighton (school near Eastern Rd),Sussex.A governess ,a teacher of English,born Colyton,Devon.
In 1871 lived at The Castle,Bishops Hull,Taunton.
In 1881 lived with her mother,Eliza Catherine Gillett, at Hoveland Terrace,Trull,near Wellington.This is where George Gillett died in 1880.
She wrote the "Short Account of our Forebears".
She says that when they were girls,she and her sister ,Charlotte,would visit Henry Wakley who farmed on the farm "Land" in the Membury Parish.They would ride ponies over the countryside,hill and dale and through rivers.

Mary married Zachary Edwards [218] [MRIN: 139], son of Z.G Edwards Reverend [219] and Unknown, on 16 Aug 1894 in Trull Church Near Taunton (and Wellington) by Rev.E S Edwards, Vicor of Misterton.Somerset. (Zachary Edwards [218] was born in 1838 in Chipstable, Somerset, died on 7 Jan 1909 in Lyme Regis, Dorset. and was buried in Lyme Regis.)
