MI - "Some MIs of Penshurst (kent) Churchyard" by Leland L Duncan August 1919: No. 130: Monument & urn: Edward Savage Bailey died 25 April 1870 aged 76 years having survived his beloved wife 37 years Amelia wife of Edward Savage Bailey of Berners Street London died 2 June 1833 aged 35 years also Mary Bailey widow of Lt Henry Bailey RN and sister in law of Edward Savage Bailey died 15 January 1877 in her 83rd year and was buried here. Erected by children of Edward Savage Bailey.

Mary married Lt. Henry William Bailey RN [1161] [MRIN: 600], son of George Bailey [1160] and Elizabeth Savage [1681]. (Lt. Henry William Bailey RN [1161] was born circa 1793 and died before 1818.)
