Attended Gordonstoun College.
Studied Sports Technology at Bath University.
Awarded the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award(2004).
Travelled to SA,Aussie and NZ in 2004.
Took up rowing while at university.
Qualified to represent Great Britain at the 2012 London Olympics in the rowing pairs.
Won a gold medal at the London Olympics in the rowing pairs.The first gold medal awarded to Team GB.
Attended Sandhurst and joined the Royal Artillery.Rank of Captain.
Heather and her partner are Olympic,World and European Class rowing pairs champions in July 2015.
Represented Great Britain in the 2016 Olympics and won a second Gold medal for the pairs rowing.
Awarded an OBE in the Quenn's Honours list in 2018.
University of Bath awarded Heather an Honary degree,Doctor of Laws in 2018.
